Eric Pohlman
Vice President

Eric has over 36 years of experience in the meat industry. 

18 years as a retail meat department manager and responsible for all aspects of meat department operation.  Markets included a high volume box store, natural foods, and traditional grocery store format.  Additionally, 16 years working for a very large wholesaler buying and managing all categories within the meat department and eggs for dairy. 

Eric brings positive energy and a “doing the right thing matters” attitude to McKenzie Buying Company. 

Rhonda Briles
Beef Category Manager

Being with McKenzie Buying Company for 23 years, Rhonda has acquired the skill set to thrive as a buyer in a fast paced commodity food space. Her forecasting skills and follow through are a powerful combination and a true resource for our customers.  Rhonda also has a background of 10 plus years as a retail manager, which gives her a strong understanding of the issues facing a consumer driven business. 

Russell Fontenot
Director Business Development

Russell has over 37 years of experience in the meat industry.

He has 7 years of experience as a Meat Department Manager for an independent retailer in the southern part of the country.  He also has over 30 years as a meat Buyer and Director for a number of large independent Wholesalers.  Additionally, he has experience in overseeing a Meat Department processing plant that produces various tray packed, case ready meat products.

Russell has high energy and thrives on getting the best deals done for his customers!

Theresa Deaver

Theresa's 23 years of purchasing and customer service experience in the food industry has focused primarily on the  foodservice sector. Her cheery personality and can do attitude has won legions of fans among our customers.
